The Baskerville Arms

the-baskerville-armsThe Baskerville Arms was once more famously known as “The Swan” in the diaries of Reverend Francis Kilvert from the late 1800s. Nestled in the village of Clyro we are about a mile and a half from the bustling town of Hay-on-Wye, known for its huge literature festival in May.

We are lucky to be amongst some of the best unspoilt countryside in the UK; close to the Black Mountains, the Brecon Beacons and Offa’s Dyke path and within a short walking distance of the River Wye.

Spend your day in a canoe, cycling, pony riding or sight-seeing at the numerous attractions around Hay on Wye or walking the many ramblers routes.
